All articles published in STEM Education International are open access and freely available online immediately upon publication.

Authors do not necessarily have to pay for an Article Submission (Article Submission: 0.00 (USD)).

This is made possible by an article-processing charge (APC) of 75 USD that covers our publishing services. Please note that this APC only applies to a manuscript after it is formally accepted for publication.  

The APC will be applied for the issue in 2026, while the previous issues are free.
